Who we are
Retroworks LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (Tennessee Secretary of State control number 002158009) based in Knoxville, Tennessee, runs retroworksai.com. Retroworks is a small AI and custom-software agency. "Retroworks", "we" and "us" mean Retroworks LLC.
This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it.
The short version
- The only personal information we collect is what you type into the "Book a call" form, and any voicemail you leave us.
- A person reads every request. There is no mailing list, and we don't send marketing email from the form.
- We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
- No ad trackers and no third-party cookies.
What we collect
If you call us and leave a voicemail, we keep the recording for up to 90 days to return your call, then delete it. We do not record live calls.
The "Book a call" form
The form on our home page (English and Spanish) asks for:
- Your name
- Your business name (optional)
- An email address or phone number, so we can reach you
- "What do you need?" (optional), in your own words
The Spanish form also sends a marker that says you used the Spanish page, so we can reply in Spanish. We also note which version of the home page (English or Spanish) the request came from.
Hidden fields that stop bots
The form has a hidden field that people never see (a "honeypot") and a timestamp of when the page loaded. These help us spot automated spam. They don't identify you.
How we use it
We use what you send only to read your request, get back to you, set up a call, and, if you want, prepare a written quote. A person reads every request. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't send marketing email from the form.
Where it is stored
Form requests are stored in our lead portal database, which is hosted by Supabase in the United States. The website itself is hosted by Vercel.
Spam and abuse protection
To keep the form from being flooded, we use three simple checks:
- The hidden honeypot field described above.
- A time trap: a form sent less than 3 seconds after the page loaded is treated as a bot.
- A limit of 5 requests per 10 minutes from the same internet (IP) address.
Your IP address is used only for that limit. It is held briefly in memory and is not stored with your request. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (which include IP addresses) for a short time for security and to keep the site running.
Analytics, cookies and browser storage
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies.
This website does not set cookies. There are no ad trackers and no third-party cookies.
The site remembers a few settings in your own browser:
- Your light or dark theme, and your sound setting, saved in your browser's local storage.
- A small flag in local storage, so the intro animation plays only on your first visit.
These settings stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
Our fonts and scripts are served from our own website. We don't load them from Google Fonts or any other outside network.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Your request is held by the companies that host our site and database (Vercel and Supabase) so that they can run those services for us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep form requests for 24 months. You can ask us to delete yours sooner (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the information we have about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information.

Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No website or database is perfectly secure, so please don't put sensitive information (like passwords or card numbers) in the form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will make it clear on this page.
